New problems, such as response time, data lose, and package disorder, appear with the transition of aero-engine control system from the centralized control to the distributed control. As a time trigged bus, Time Trigged CAN (TTCAN) bus is a potential candidate for a kind of time vital system, such as aero-engine control system. The TTCAN bus could meet the transmission requirements of aero-engine distributed control system for periodicity messages and event messages. The response time resulting from TTCAN bus is related to instant performance of aero-engine closely. In this paper, we analyze the response time of TTCAN bus from the four different parts, and provide the specific structure for each one. Furthermore, we analyze the response time under basic errors over TTCAN bus and verify the influence of temperature on the response time by the experiments.
