This document provides data format information for the Met Office Hadley Centre (MOHC) and University of East Anglia (UEA) HadCRUT4 data. The document contains a file description which describes the ensemble filenaming convention, details of the NetCDF file structure, the variable abbreviations and corresponding names and the global attributes. The document also describes the ensemble median and its uncertainty information.
