A Novel Social Networks Approach Based on QoS for Web Services Selection
Abdelmalek Metrouh, Farid Mokhati · 2016
With the emergence of the service oriented approach, the number of Web services is growing continuously. The selection of the "best" Web service for a particular need is a real challenge. Most proposed approaches to Web ser-vices selection focused on the description of Web services themselves and neglect their interactions. To overcome the selection challenge, we developed new techniques based on social networks. We propose a novel approach, in Web 2.0 context, which combines social networks of Web services with the principles of recommender systems to define the interactions between Web services. These interactions are exploited to develop an algorithm for Web services selection in case of substitution. The proposed Web Service selection process takes into ac-count the selection overall quality.
