Logical Design of Switching Circuits
Basil Zacharov · Physics Bulletin · 1969
D. Lewin London: Thomas Nelson. 1968 Pp. xi + 368. Price £3 10s. The author states that the purpose of this volume, which is intended to be primarily for final year engineering students, is to give an introduction to the logical design of digital systems. Logical design is defined here, somewhat restrictively, as “the process of interconnecting commercially available logic modules”, so it is very surprising that in the 350 or so pages of text the reader will not find more than a few pages where the actual characteristics of commercially available modules are discussed.
