Abstract. Today, information is typically contained in different IT systems. Ontologies and semantic integration have been proposed for integrating this information with the purpose of meaningful processing and providing useful services on top of that information. As applications, at the same time, modify the information during run-time, the information to be integrated has a dynamic nature. In this paper, we discuss performance aspects of integrating such dynamically changing A-box data from running applications, point out several technical alternatives, and present performance measures for those alternatives. We show how the findings are applied in two different application examples. 1
