Proposal for an IoT architecture in industrial processes

Nowadays, with the advancement of technologies involving IoT (Internet of Things), the industry has demonstrated interest in adapting to such a scenario. The industry 4.0 is a good example of this IoT trend is inserting in industrial environments. This article presents a new proposal for IoT architecture with possible industrial applications based on architectures with recognized and consolidated IoT technologies, which direct and guide development possibilities for new technologies focused on industrial processes. A study on the industry 4.0 and the technologies used in the industry that have some kind of adherence to IoT are presented. Finally, the proposal from IoT architecture in an industrial setting of sugar and alcohol production is demonstrated.
