Labeling and finding missing pieces of jigsaw puzzle

Jigsaw puzzle is one of the brain game, which is used in many applications, such as, in archeology, biology, games, and other life issues. There are important things that fail from the setting of the puzzle it self, for example on its pieces of the jigsaw puzzle. In this paper, the researchers analyze the set of the square jigsaw puzzle that is already arranged but has one or more missing pieces. The contribution here is to explain the automatic detection of missing pieces, including the position and size of the missing pieces. Aim of this research can be used for a wide range of square jigsaw puzzle sizes. The results of the research show the accuracy in the detection of missing pieces with the position of the labeling pieces which will be use to find correct image in any rotation angle from the large sources of the image.
