With the increasing of the amount of video data in the cloud environment, the selective encryption technology is an efficient way to protect the video. However, it cannot satisfy the requirements of real-time, high efficiency and security in the process of encrypting a large amount of video. The spark has a strong ability to deal with large amounts of data. In this paper, we combine the spark distributed framework and video selective encryption, using AES encryption algorithm and selecting the slice I frame and MV as the key information for encryption in which the the depth of the encryption can be controlled. Compared with the results of selective encrypt video based on a single server, experimental results show that the strategy which distributed video selective encryption based on the spark can greatly improve the efficiency of encryption, and meet the higher requirements of real-time performance.
