Wavelet decomposition applied to radar technology

A modern approach to radar target recognition and identification based on wavelet decomposition of the Radar Cross Section is presented. The application of this technique in radar technology for both simple and complex targets recognition is then numerically investigated. Results obtained show that this technique is very promising and yields recognition levels difficult to achieve with any other currently available technique.
