Scott-open distributive filters and prime elements of quantales

In 2002, D. Kruml introduced the notion of a distributive quantale and proved, assuming the Axiom of Choice, that any algebraic distributive quantale is spatial. In this paper we present a generalization of this result that any continuous distributive quantale is spatial. Basics of the theory of radical nuclei are developed.
