A lot of scientific research has been going on for implementing digital systems at nano-scale level. Quantum-dot based Quantum Dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is a promising as well as emerging technology for implementation of digital systems at nano-scale. By taking full advantage of the unique features of this technology, it is possible to have device which functions consuming ultra-low power and very high operating speeds. In this paper, we have considered the “QCA Designer” for designing the layout of QCA based circuits. This computational tool is a CAD design as well as simulation tool for QCA circuits. Using this tool, we have designed and tested the overall functioning of our proposed design of QCA based of a robust RS latch and RS flip-flop after properly understanding the various types of interactions among QCA cells.
