Non-Gaussian operations on bosonic modes of light: Photon-added Gaussian channels

A systematic framework to study linear bosonic non-Gaussian channels of continuous-variable systems is presented. The non-Gaussian channels investigated are realized by extending quantum-limited Gaussian channels with photon addition applied to the environment state in the Stinespring dilation of these channels.
