Comparison of super-resolution techniques in scattering analysis
Markus Giray, Saurabh Mishra · 1992
Recently, several spectral estimation techniques which offer significantly higher resolution than the conventional DFT technique have been introduced. The use of these techniques in scattering analysis is presented in this paper. The emphasis is placed on two methods; MUSIC method and adaptive auto-regressive method based on the LMS approach. A comparative performance evaluation of these two techniques is reported. The study is based on the time domain analysis of the frequency domain RCS return which is dispersive in nature.
