Radiosensitivity Parameters for Cancer-like Biological Endpoints in Some Mammalian Cell Cultures

Abstract Radiosensitivity parameters of Katz's cellular track structure model have been evaluated for oncogenic transformations and survival in C3H 10T1/2 cells from the data of Hei et al (1988), and for chromatid exchanges, abnormal metaphases and survival in CH2B2 cells, from the data of Skarsgard et al (1967). Model predictions for transformations and survival in the C3H 10T1/2 mammalian cell line after neutron irradiations are compared with the experimental data of Miller et al (1988, 1989).
