Hop optimization in massively dense Wireless sensor network

Rajwinder Kaur, Harminder Preet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur · 2016

This paper reports the designing of routing protocol for solving the problem related to routing for dense Wireless sensor network (WSN). In order to get precise and accurate information, there is a need to place a immense number of nodes to sense a same region of interest (RoI). Such type of network called massively dense WSN. Nodes in a network are battery powered so energy is a basic constraint in functioning of WSN. To minimize the energy consumption and increase the life time of the network hops from source to sink should be optimum. Present work is focused on techniques to minimize the hop count for every transmission or collection of information.
