A long lifetime of sensor nodes is one of the key points to construct a sensor network. An on-demand wireless network is one of the wasteful power consumption reduction methods. Each sensor node has a single function. By performing wake-up according to function, the power consumption is further reduced. In this paper, an on-demand wireless network using multi-carrier code-division multiple-access (CDMA) with modified pseudo orthogonal M-sequence sets (MPOMS) is proposed. The detection probability of wake-up signal, the false-alarm probability of wake-up signal, and bit error rate (BER) of data signal is derived. The communication success probability is evaluated.
