Mobile outdoor augmented reality project for historic sites in Tainan

This paper discusses the development of an interactive mobile application based on Augmented Reality (AR) Technologies to enhance tourism experiences and make them more enjoyable. The main idea is to integrate actual historic monuments with Augmented Reality games. The goal of this project is to both entertain and educate visitors through mobile AR games while they visit historic sites. We introduce the design and concept of the project and aim to present a new tourism experience for Tainan City.
