This paper focuses on the impression evaluation and VR sickness of the virtual simulation system for residential environment reproduction. Aiming at subjects of different age and sex, we carried out an experiment. The influences on VR sickness of pleasure after the VR experience, effectiveness as design tool, sense of hunger, dizziness on standing up, passage of time and picture kinds were examined. The results were as follows. (1) The VR experience was fun and effective for design. (2) Women in their 20's were highly sensitive to VR sickness. (3) After the VR experience, subjects who complained of weariness were likely to feel sick. (4) The passage time of the VR experience had a tendency to influence VR sickness.
