Nowadays most of the areas digital images are get into the picture and play a major role in satellite television, television broadcasting, research and technology such as geographical information systems and astronomy. The information collected by image sensors is usually contaminated with noise. Imperfect instruments problems with data acquisition process and interfering natural phenomena of all degrade the data of interest. Further, noise can be introduced by transmission of error signals and compression. Thus, the noise suppression is absolutely necessary and the first step is to be taken to suppress the noise before the image data get analyzed. So, it is necessary to apply efficient filtering techniques to compensate for such data corruption.
