Research on SaaS Oriented Business Process Customization Method

With the rapid development of internet and software technology, SaaS model has become the wise choice of more and more enterprises. As an on-demand software, how to adaptively configure the SaaS model according to the customized business processes becomes an important issue for both industrial and academics. To address this issue, this paper proposes a layer based configuration architecture. In the proposed architecture, a business process is logically divided into three layers: business layer, service layer, and data layer. According to the characteristics of each layer, we propose different configuration strategies which are effectively and independently conducted. Thus, the configuration architecture can be flexibly and conveniently applied in SaaS application model to meet the customized requirements of tenants.
