Network lifetime enhancement of clustering approach using handoff mechanism in WSN

Prathiba Harsha, R Kanakaraju · 2016

Wireless sensor networks [WSN] have played a prominent role in changing the technology scenario. Although most number of proposals have come through to validate its parameters still there are small issues which pose a large threat to the performance criterion of WSN, one among is the hand over which is least addressed in all types of advancements and still poses a problem for the sensor-nodes with not enough computation capability, restricted power and less memory size. In the handoff procedure the mobiles user fluctuates from one area to another area of coverage when the call duration is still enabled, under such scenarios since his motion shifts from one station to other the signal gets deteriorated and connectivity to the next system creates a delay due to which handover is caused. This paper provides a method for clustering and cluster head election method using mobile based LEACH-ERE in wireless sensor environment to increase efficiency of energy. It provides relation among methods based on lifetime of the network. On the basis of lifetime of network, it makes judgment among various methods. Packet delivery ratio get consider the fix and mobile nodes in each responsible node.
