A multi-agent architecture for sharing knowledge and experimental data about waste water treatment plants through the internet

Ejh Kerckhoffs, Hans Vangheluwe · Ghent University Academic Bibliography (Ghent University) · 1996

In this paper we present a first prototype of a multi-agent architecture for the sharing of knowledge and experimental data about waste water treatment plants through the Internet, using WWW protocols. Applying a net browser such as Netscape, a user currently has access to advice on waste water cleaning technologies (a CLIPS expert system) and to files containing experiment data. The local prototype discussed in this article is part of a proposed global agent architecture.
