The S.I. Ampere and Volt—An Example of Electrical Metrology

Some fundamental principles underlying the whole of present-day electrical metrology below microwave frequencies are exemplified in the new N.P.L. realisation of one of the S.I. electrical units with the moving-coil apparatus. The measurements are described with the aim of illustrating these principles.
