Interpretation-driven Visual Association.

In this paper we outline ongoing research into a compu-tational model of association based on the reinterpreta-tion of a source object to fit the target. We describe the structure of the model and the concepts from which it arises. Preliminary results of visual associations made by the system in a simple shape domain are presented. We also discuss a planned application of our model to the analysis of a real-world creative design.
