We know that every terraced matrix has the factorization R b D D b C , where C is the Cesàro matrix and D b D d iag f.n C 1/ b n g : In the present paper, we define the generalized terraced matrix by using the generalized Cesàro matrix in the expression above, and some properties of this matrix are given.
