Modern problems of high-precision measurements of the phase differences

Precision phase measurements are necessary in many sectors of the measuring equipment. The most important parameters of these devices: 1) carrier frequency range; 2) changing range of the measured phase difference; 3) the phase measurement error; 4) frequency range for phase increments. The paper discusses the opportunities and challenges for precise measurement of phase differences for these purposes.
