An Elementary Method to Determine the Weight Distribution of 2nd-order Reed-Muller Codes

This paper presents an elementary method to independently obtain the weight distribution of second-order binary Reed-Muller codes RM(2, m). We note that such method can also be used to study the weight distribution of rth-order Reed-Muller codes for r ≥ 3.
