To minimize the costs, the current Bluetooth products are almost dummy devices, which have also introduced a serious problem for IoT's development (Internet of Things): As dummy devices do not have user interfaces to receive user's commands, it is impossible for these dummy Bluetooth devices to form dynamic connections and achieve information communications among each other, and this will eventually hinder the development of dynamic linkage control of the Bluetooth devices. With the purpose of solving this problem, a dynamic networking scheme among dummy Bluetooth devices is proposed in this paper. By utilizing management gateways and controlling devices, this scheme can achieve dynamic connections and information communications among dummy Bluetooth devices by forming a centralized structure based on the Bluetooth protocol. Besides this, detailed procedures for concrete networking and management processes are also given in the paper and with the advantages of the proposed scheme analyzed. Furthermore, to validate the proposed scheme, a smart home environment is simulated with the aids of some embedded devices and mobile phones. It can be clearly seen from the simulation results that the proposed scheme cannot only achieve the dynamic networking and devices management processes among dummy Bluetooth devices, but also has accomplished it in an efficient and extensible way.
