Spectrum sharing of VMES terminals with fixed service stations

Vehicle-mounted earth stations (VMES) use satellite links that operate in the Fixed Satellite Service (FSS) and most of the frequencies allocated to FSS in the Ka-band are shared, on a co-primary basis, with the Fixed Service (FS), which is the terrestrial radio communication service between fixed stations. In this paper interference from a network of VMES terminals to a victim FS receiver is analyzed to facilitate spectrum sharing of VMES terminals with FS systems.
