Forty Odd Years in The Cold

I started as a graduate student in 1932 and during most of the 40 odd years since then I have worked in the cold of low temperature physics. In this article I shall recall some of the exciting developments in which I have been involved and some of the interesting personalities with whom I have had the good fortune to interact.
