Hasimah Hj Mohamed, Muhammad Arshad, Muhammad Dzulhilmi Azmi · 2016

Performing Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. Usually the pilgrims will attend a training before departing for Hajj as a preparation for the ritual process, in order to achieve a ‘mabrur’ Hajj. However, they probably encounter some problems related to Hajj ritual that require immediate decisions especially rituals that is related with ‘Dumm’ (penalty) imposition. We proposed a dynamic knowledge-based approach that can capture possible problems and solutions from the expert on mobile platform. It provides an interface that enables users to query both simple and advance questions. The system has been implemented using an artificial intelligence (AI) method of Case Based Reasoning (CBR) and Decision Tree.
