Ideals in transformation semigroups

We first survey the work done on determining the one and two-sided ideals of various transformation semigroups, and then generalize this to cotranaitive semigroups and the semigroup of transformations which shift less than f elements.In both cases, the completely semiprime ideals are characterized.
