Redefining the Values of Robotics and Automation [President's Message]

One of the happiest opportunities of being an IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) president is hearing past success history from many top runners because I feel I realize the wisdom behind it. My recent questions are how the RAS was established and what the motivation was. According to many people, they wanted to redefine the axes of the values of this research area.
