Analysis on the performance of special channel reservation mechanism in cognitive radio
Guangzhe Ding, Qing Zhao · 2016
For cognitive radio, dynamic spectrum access is a promising development direction. Dynamic spectrum access mechanism which is considered in this paper is a kind of channel reservation mechanism. Unlike most of the existing channel reservation mechanism, it is considered that the channel is reserved exclusively for unauthorized users in this paper. This reserved channel can only allow unauthorized users to access. The advantages of the mechanism proposed in this paper is to ensure that authorized users quality of service, and improving the performance of unauthorized users, such as throughput rate and dropping rate of unauthorized users. The experimental results show that it can increase the throughput rate of unauthorized users and reduce the dropping rate in meet the throughput requirements of authorized users.
