This paper explains the distance vector and link state routing protocols used for internal routing purposes in enterprise or service provider networks. Link state and Distance Vector protocols uses different algorithms. These paper includes the differences between various link state and distance vector routing protocols. This paper compares the performance of all the distance vector and link state routing protocols with both IPv4 and IPv6 with default parameters.
