National Police Referencing System (NPRS) helps police in the field to identify individuals who are wanted by police, or are a threat to the public, or simply of interest to police such as missing persons. NPRS is responsible for developing an electronic program that allows police to exchange information about persons of interest across jurisdictions around Australia.
