Realisation of Linear Circuits Using IC Op-Amps: Some Appraisals
Raj Senani · IETE Journal of Education · 1990
This article is concerned with the realisation of a class of linear circuits using IC op-amps. The main object is to show (i) the effect of the nonideal (finite, frequency dependent) gain of the op-amp (usually represented by a one-pole model) on the performance of certain circuits and the technique of compensating (known as active compensation) for such effects, (ii) some techniques of realising useful functional cricuits by incorporating, the otherwise parasitic, op-amp pole as an useful design parameter, and (iii) some unusual operational modes of a few well known circuits (resulting from the incorporation of the op-amp pole).
