Abstract. Factory is an extension of Java which provides a templatebased reflection mechanism for generative programming. Java classes can be parameterized by types, and the structure of the classes can be described dependent on these type parameters. Factory can address a wide range of applications and save programmers a lot of work. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with Java, to be intuitive for the user, extensible, and safe. 1
