Multiple aspect ranking for researcher expertise finding

Expertise finding is the process to assess the individual expertise. The expertise may describe some aspects of the skill or knowledge of the researcher. In this paper, multi-aspect expertise is introduced to describe the expertise of the researcher. The multi-aspect expertise covers broad skill and specific skill and each skill has significance and relation to one another. The multiple aspect ranking is also presented to demonstrate how to rank the relevant expertise using the multi-aspect expertise. We conducted the experiment using the proposed approach. The result shows that multi-aspect expertise is practical enough for expertise finding and the ranking process becomes the refined ranking.
