Strategies: Four more goals for CNRS

Computer modelling, complex systems, optoelectronics and applied mathematics have been identified as priorities by the physical sciences and mathematics department (SPM) of France's Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. In 1993 the SPM received approximately FF1.1bn (about £127m) of the CNRS's FF12.4bn budget.
