Remark on Algorithm 100: Add Item to Chain-Linked List and Algorithm 101: Remove Item From Chain-Linked List

We report on a number of errors and shortcomings in the two published Algol 60 codes which add items to and delete items from a chain-linked list. We present an updated Algol 60 code and a Fortran 90 translation which correct these problems as well as improving the logical structure of the algorithm.
