Weekly issues of all its 26 parts and daily, morning and evening editions of Physical Review, is that where we are going? Considering the total volume of present publications relevant to practising physicists we come close to it even now with some giga words per annum disappearing into a bottomless pit as printed matter or synthetic ‘bytes’.
