Sentinel 1 Stripmap GRDH image despeckling using two stages algorithms

We discuss in this paper despeckling of multilooks SAR images, proposing a new method based on two stages architecture. We describe the particularities of Sentinel-1 Stripmap multilooks (GDRH) images and present the advantages of two stages architecture. Simulation results and comparisons with state of the art denoising methods highlight the benefits of the solution proposed.
