MatGridGUI — A toolbox for GridLAB-D simulation platform

The aim of this paper is to present a graphical user interface (GUI) toolbox that has been developed for the GridLAB-D simulation platform. The toolbox provides the users with a friendly interface facilitating the design and simulation of experiments related to the operation of the electric power grid. The GUI, which is named MatGridGUI, integrates GridLAB-D platform with the Matlab software functions. Overall, MatGridGUI accommodates a reliable, efficient and fast way for data input and result acquisition of power grid simulation in GridLAB-D.
