Complete as you go: A constructive Korean text entry method for smartwatches

Researchers have proposed various methods to improve efficiencies of smartwatch input while overcoming fat finger and display occlusion problems. However, much work has focused on English text entry. Since Korean text entry operates on different orthographic principles, an efficient Korean input method needs to be designed and implemented for wearable platforms such as smartwatches. To demonstrate a concept of constructing Korean characters as user interaction goes, two implementations based on touchscreen and joystick modalities are presented.
