Domain driven design and provision of micro-services to build emerging learning systems
Maha Khemaja · 2016
During the last decades, advances in technology and software engineering had drastically impacted learning environments' development which has driven opportunities towards more personalized, context-aware, dynamic, funny, affect-aware... learning tasks and processes that can address ever evolving users' needs. The present work attempts to provide a novel approach to build emerging learning systems or frameworks by making use of both micro-services based software architectures and provisioning servers. The aim is to provide the user with required features to perform a given learning task while taking into account automatically and dynamically new changes and emerging features. The paper proposes formal models required for both monitoring and modelling the provisioning sever as well and the target learning systems.
