Web service QoS prediction strategies
W Preethi, M. R. Binu Rajan · 2016
As the use of web services are increasing rapidly, it is very essential to ensure the quality of the invoked service. From Quality of Service (QoS) factors, reliability is the most predominant factor. QoS can be referred as matching network resources to application demands which in turn helps to keep the service reliable. Reliability is a general quality of a system. It is the probability that a system performs intended functions for a particular period of time in a specified operating system. This paper analyses the current state of art of various reliability prediction strategies taking QoS values in consideration. It helps to efficiently discover new and meaningful knowledge to enhance existing techniques or models used in web service reliability prediction.
