A mathematical approach on various radix-2i FFT algorithms

This paper presents the various Radix-2iFFT algorithms for OFDM technique used in wireless communications. A High data rate Wireless Personal Area Network systems will be used for various high speed multimedia applications. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) performs a major role in wireless communication, because the OFDM technique efficiently uses the bandwidth rather than other multi carrier modulation techniques. The radix of the algorithm greatly influences the architecture of FFT processor and the complexity of the implementation. The higher Radix 2ialgorithm achieves a simple butterfly structure and reduced number of twiddle factor multiplications. Implementation of various Radix-2iFFT algorithms received much attention in this paper.
