Peculiarities of signal processing procedures in long-distance communication systems, caused by relative movement of transmitter and receiver and by random frequency variations of transmitter's and receiver's reference generators, were discussed. Comparison between several signal processing methods were provided, giving emphasis to parallel signal processing systems.
