Single image dehazing based on one dimensional linear filtering and adoptive histogram equalization method

We present in this paper a single image dehazing method which is based on one dimensional linear filter. The objective of this research is to defog any type of foggy problem by using our algorithm, based on mean enhancement methodology and adaptive histogram equalization method. We are using YCbCr model in our work. The luminance image is used to remove the fog and showing the clear image objects of the image. Rest of the two images are used to preserve the color with respect to particular color values. Eventually we merge the all resultant images to get fog free image of the foggy image.
